Route Desciption
OUTBOUND
West to Bairnsdale via backroads, north through Bruthen, Buchan, Suggan Buggan on the Snowy River Road. At the NSW border commence on the Barry Way through to Jindabyne. Then Alpine Way to Khancoban, turning right onto the Swampy Plains Creek Road to Cabramurra.
INBOUND
From Cabramurra south to Alpine Way and then west to Corryong (Colac Colac). South through the Nariel Valley along the Benambra-Corryong Road, turning north onto the Omeo Hwy just north of Omeo, then left on the Bogong High Plains Rd across Falls Creek and down into Mt Beauty. Across Tawonga Gap into Bright and follow the Ovens Valley Hwy to Myrtleford. South on the Buffalo River Road to Whitfield. Follow the backroads through to Tolmie, Howqua, Jamieson, Gaffneys Creek, Woods Point, Cambarville and home.
